[Spoilers Warning] Kuroko no Basuke Season 2 is HERE!!!

I had been waiting and waiting and waiting and it's finally here!!!!! But before I actually started watching the first episode, I struggled hard as I really hate the waiting part before the new episode comes out. But what to do? It's equally agonizing to wait until the whole season's over and then watch it and then get crazy over it alone. Really man! It's like having a weekly dose of drug to cure your anime-illness and then realize  you need to have the next dose earlier, and earlier and earlier! So much so that you're willing to threaten the production team at gunpoint and have them squeeze out the whole season ASAP! You get what I mean?!?!?

 

Phew~ Chill chill~ Before you continue reading this, I'll assume you had already watched the season 1 right? RIGHT? RIGHT??? If not, go watch the first season first before reading on! 

 

Welcome back~! Season 1 itself was already oozing with pheremones and this season is back with more! Though I had only watched the first two episodes, I really can't wait for the next one. The first episode started with the squeaking of the basketball shoes and whistles, and then recap of the characters in the show, and who's in the legendary Generation of Miracles (奇跡の世代). I literally squealed when I saw Kise do that lay-up (I don't know whether I got that term right) and give a prince-like smile >.<

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The episode carried on with the introduction of a new character named Himuro Tatsuya (voiced by Kishou Taniyama, the vocalist of Granrodeo, who sang the 2 opening songs of KnB season 1 and this season) from Yosen High!

And yeah baby!! Another heartthrob!! Characters always look cooler when they have one side of their eyes covered up (yayyyy thumbs up to Senji from Deadman Wonderland) and keeps me guessing what's underneath that eye. Tatsuya doesn't just have the looks, he has the "smell" of the Generation of Miracles as quoted from Kuroko and I am soooo looking forward to see him exhibit more of his skills! During the recap of his past with Kagami in America, when I saw the part where Tatsuya gave the matching ring to Kagami as a proof of their brotherhood, my fujoshi mind started running wild~~~  I can expect to see more of Tatsuya X Kagami Yaoi fanart in the Yaoi community soon!

Ok, back to the basketball court, it is amazing how they (including the audiences) can stand there and listen to Kagami's story. It is either the audience had great patience or that Kagami spoke at lightning speed. 

 

And finally, match 1 of street basketball begins! But but but.... super-tall Murasakibara Atsushi stopped the tip-off simply with a Umaigo. When Atsushi said his first sentence of  "Goooomennnn.. Chooootto matte kun nai?" in a super laid-back voice, I knew I heard this voice before. I continued watching and I knew who it was when he said "nande..?". Being a great fan of Gintama and the fact that I listen to Gintama episodes instead of songs helped me recognize that it is the same voice actor (Kenichi Suzumura) for Okita Sougo from Gintama!!! YEAH MAN! Great choice as Okita and Atsushi are both sadistic characters. And I never noticed Kagami's split eyebrows until this season when Atsushi plucked it. He's soooo cute!!! Carrying that bag of snacks around makes him even cuter! Aww man, it's only in anime where you can keep snacking, don't gain weight and be amazing in basketball. hahaha

 

Episode 2 ends off with Kuroko showing Momoi his newest technique he's mastering, which Momoi deemed that he would be unstoppable if he was to master it. I wanna see it!! I really can't wait for the next episode to come!!!
